A Good Start

February 23, 2017

Lot’s of things have happened since you last heard from us. Great things! First of all, we’ve made friends with a publisher. After months of negotiations with various publishers we finally met our perfect match. They’re indie. They’re crazies (like us), and absolutely awesome. We hereby present Coffee Stain Publishing as our new pardner’s in crime.

The Progress of Huntdown

Since the handshake with Coffee Stain in October we´ve literally closed the door to the bunker, focusing on the development. Huntdown is now in pre-alpha and it looks better than ever. We have updated the overall graphics sincerely, redesigning the whole game. New effects like debris and shrapnel from explosions and destructibles now makes Huntdown a more intense experience. We´re also proud to present new assets to our team, Marcus Jerner, who is responsible for the art work of the levels. Every level is now an amazing piece of art itself. As Tommy is still making the music Huntdown´s sound experience is now carefully monitored by Christopher Malmqvist and Olof Ejstes who produce SFX for gun shots, screams and all the craziness you will encounter in Huntdown. We will soon give all the guys a proper presentation.

About Coffee Stain Studios

Started in the middle of nowhere in Sweden back in 2010 by a group of friends, Coffee Stain Studios quickly grew into one of the world’s most successful indie developers. Partly because of good timing, but mainly because of great games. The studio is on a streak where both Sanctum and Sanctum 2 has sold over a million copies, while Goat Simulator, launched in 2014, has turned an amazing 20 M downloads across a wide range of platforms. Nowadays Coffee Stain also Publish externally developed titles through Coffee Stain Publishing, and we’re super-happy to announce that we are their first case.

Giddyup! There’s a new fella in town

Working on the awaited arcade shooter Huntdown® since late 2015, we finally have a name for our studio. Behold Easy Trigger Games! Founded by Tommy Gustafsson and Andreas Rehnberg, Easy Trigger Games officially slithered out of its egg in October 2016 as a new company. The team is also expanding, we are currently three guys working with Huntdown in full-time, thus two guys part-time helping out with the Sound FX. Read more about the team here.
